PK CHUA – HEAD EDUCATOR

PK is a certified international wine educator with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET UK). Formally working in the IT industry, he decided to make a big shift to the wine industry and has been actively involved for the past 7 years. He believes that wines should be approachable, festive, and fun. He teaches a range of wine classes on a weekly basis from French to Italian wine and he is known for his informal, infectious, enthusiastic style of teaching

MICKEY HUANG

Hailing from Taiwan with prior experience in news and entertainment as an anchor and journalist, Mickey pursued her passion for wine and started her wine career in Melbourne in 2014. Her previous experience from working as a sommelier and beverage columnist for UDN Style has not only equipped her with a wealth of knowledge but also the ability to train and educate. Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Mickey’s enthusiastic and motivating teaching style engages her audience and holds them captive into the world of wine.

GRACE GU

Grace is a passionate wine lover and Diploma holder in WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust). Armed with the prestigious position as Air Sommelier for over 10 years with Singapore Airlines, she now educates and encourages her students to achieve their wine goals and dreams. She is also actively involved in the wine world in events such as wine tastings and speaking to wine producers. Equipped as an internal assessor for WSET and ACTA certified trainer, she spearheads and develops our WSET Level 3 Certification Program.

Level 1: There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

Level 2: There are no entry requirements for this qualification.

Level 3:  A passing grade for WSET Level 2 Award in Wines.

If you’re unable to attend one of these classes due to an unexpected event, such as illness or last minute work commitments, you may reschedule your class 15 business days before the commencement of the class date you signed up for. Otherwise, there is a rescheduling fee of $120 (WSET 1) / $150 (WSET 2) / $200 (WSET 3). Prices excluding GST. Please email us at wset@finewines.com.sg

If you have contracted with COVID, you are able to reschedule your class without incurring charges however we will require submit a medical certificate or a photo of your ART kit accompanied with your identification card, date and signature to wset@finewines.com.sg. This exemption is valid until 31 December 2022.

We are currently not subsidised by any government aid.

Course materials will be given on the day of the course however you may wish to collect at our office from Monday to Saturday (10 am to 6.30 pm). Please email us at wset@finewines.com.sg with your full name and course date to arrange for a collection date/time.

Failing is not a word that we use here at Fine Wines SG. We will prepare you with mock exam and tips to ensure that you perform at your optimal level. If you do not pass your exam on the first attempt, you may take it again by purchasing a retake for $160 (excluding GST). We will require 15 working days advance notice to book the exam.
