We have a flight of three bottles of the following in a blind tasting:
Joseph Drouhin Chassagne-Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche 1er Cru 2018
Philippe Colin Chassagne-Montrachet En Remilly 1er Cru 2017
Christian Moreau Chablis Le Clos Grand Cru 2019
Don’t get confused with the super top Montrachet Marquis de Laguiche produced by Joseph Drouhin as this bottle is from Chassagne-Montrachet and costs only S$100+. Bouquet was mild. Palate was light with no significant oak presence (at least I could not detect any oak). However, it’s really easy to drink with not much complexity. A simple wine by any definition. Finishing is short.
The winner in this flight is the Philippe Colin Chassgne-Montrachet En Remilly 1er Cru 2017 by a far margin.
