I learned that the blend composition was 85% Sangiovese and 15% Syrah. Syrah? Is this allowed in Chianti IGT blend? Someone kindly enlighten me.

Cherry driven nose. Spicy, lively and bouncy. For the price of a few Euro, great daily drinking wine.”
