Andre Clouet Rose Champagne: $79
A huge basket of freshly squeezed strawberries! The wine is masked by a lot of bubbles, and it quickly sizzles and melts in your mouth. The trick here is not to drink it while it’s still chilled, let it warm up in the glass (don’t use flutes!), and enjoy the intensity of the champagne, very enjoyable.

Started off a mixed character on the nose; aged tobacco leaves but also young with sour green apple. Palate was similar; initially the green apple dominated. However I discovered that the champagne slowly evolved into ripe apple and honey, very bold and rich. Unforgettable!
